To use the WYSIweb editor, insert a link button or "bookmarklet" as follows.

Internet Explorer 6+: (Firefox instructions below)

  1. Right-click on this link: WYSIweb
  2. Choose Add to Favorites from the contextual menu.
  3. Click OK if you get a security warning (there is no security risk).
  4. If you don't see a list of Favorites folders, click the Create In >> button.
  5. Find the Links folder in the list and click it once.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Make sure the Links toolbar is visible (Click View > Toolbars > Links if it isn't).
  8. If you don't see the WYSIweb link, click the little arrow » on the toolbar.

Mozilla Firefox 1+:

Dragging a link to the Bookmarks Toolbar
  1. Make sure the Bookmarks toolbar is visible (Click View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar if it isn't).
  2. Drag this link to the Bookmarks Toolbar: WYSIweb
    When the pointer changes to an arrow, you can drop the link anywhere on the toolbar.

WYSIweb is now set up and you can begin editing by surfing to the page on your site that you wish to edit and then clicking on the WYSIweb link in the Links or Bookmarks toolbar.
